Clarke Broome & Business Success

Starting a Business

Starting a business is a difficult proposition. If you are selling a product, just a few of the things to consider are:

  • What product(s) to sell or services to offer
  • What liabilities do you need to cover for selling the product(s)
  • Is there really a market for the products
  • How much money will it take
  • What staff will you need to hire
  • How will you handle accounting and legal matters
  • What equipment will you need
  • What facilities will you need to lease

When you begin, just considering a small sample of the issues an entrepreneur needs to be concerned with, the appeal of having a direct sales business is understandable. Becoming an independent business owner (IBO), using the company we are affiliated with as your vehicle, may very well be a viable solution.

Clarke Broome was highly successful in real estate. But like many people, he wanted to know if there was something more than working all the time. Was it possible to create a business that didn't tie up all his time working to live. Looking at the traditional business options, it didn't seem like there was a way to achieve that.

The appeal of Network Marketing

Network Marketing Global ImageSo what if you had a partner who was willing to take on the product manufacturing, product research, product testing,  insurance, patents, trademarks, facilities, staff, meeting worldwide government rules & regulations and your only task was to provide the marketing? That is certainly one great appeal of moving into a direct sales business.

Better yet, in Network Marketing, there is a system of duplication. The success is in a proven and time tested simple system of Duplication that anyone can follow. This system allows you to leverage your time. There are two sides to consider in the duplication process. We'll call them Duplicatees and Duplicators or Tees and Tors for short.

One of my favorite quotes is "Success Leaves Clues". The best Network Marketers not only leave clues by their success, they go out of their way to ensure their success methodology. Tees are given a system to follow. The system is one that has been proven and is known to work. A lot of that system is marketing, hence the "Marketing" part of Network Marketing. By following that system, Tees are able to create success for themselves because they are following a simple to use system designed to create success. [Disclaimer: Like any business, success is NOT created by simply signing your name on the dotted line. By their nature, systems require effort and energy to get things going.]

The "Network" part of Network Marketing is about duplicating the success system with more individuals and creating a network of people who follow the success system. This is exactly what Tors do. By doing this, they are able to work with other individuals and expand not only the Tees success, but benefit from helping Tees acheive more success. Tors often band together at the most successful levels to create even better systems by the synergy they create from working together. [Team INA is a great example of a highly successful system of teaching and training].

Here are some of the benefits of Tees and Tors:

Benefits of Tees and Tors
Tees Tors
Success System to Follow Help others achieve success
System already tested and proven Benefit financially from the success of others
Tools provided to help System of duplication to allow revenue growth without the same time commitment of a Tee
Coaching & Training Available Teach what you learn
Leverage the success of others Learning Leadership skills and utilizing those skills to grow.

Clarke could clearly see the benefits of Network Marketing but then comes the question of which company to choose out of the tens of thousands available.

The Appeal of Network Marketing

Most people have heard of Network Marketing. By asking them "What do you know about Network Marketing?" and listening to their response, you can often figure out which decade they first encountered the Network Marketing Business opportunity. Network Marketing addresses the needs of individuals who want to start a business. Some key areas that are handled by the corporation are:

  • Products
  • Distribution
  • Training
  • Legal Issues
  • Marketing Programs
  • Compensation Plan
  • Customer Support

While I could go into details of how well the Corporation has done in these and many areas, it is just as easy for you to contact us and get the facts yourself.  I suppose the real question is "Why would I choose Network Marketing over the other opportunities available?".  Here are the primary ones that catch my attention:

  1. 50 years. The facts show that most Network Marketing companies fold within a few years of getting started. There isn't much benefit to joining a company, going to the top and having it fold. I want a company that can show me IBOs who sponsored their children and grandchildren into the business and achieved success. That company is looking for the long term and looking out for my heirs.
  2. Product Variety. While there are benefits to focusing on a small set of products, having more products does improve your market appeal to both end users and new business partners. If also protects the IBO's income stream in the event that a product becomes unavailable due to supply issues or regulation or whatever. More variety also means you can provide more benefits to your existing customer base and increase your sales. Selling to existing customers and IBOs has always been easier than creating new business. When you have a large business, just adding one new product can significantly increase the income stream.
  3. IBO Representation. Over the years, I've seen many cases where a Network Marketing company changes its entire compensation plan or opens their business up to retail outlets or cancels entire product lines. This happens more frequently as the management of the company gets farther removed from its distributor force. Having the interests of the IBO represented and having a Company that provides a way for the distributor force to be represented  protects the IBOs from these kinds of changes.

So, yes, unique and patented products are important but most companies have that. [Whether the product is any good or not is a different question that you probably want to know about].  Compensation Plans are very important but in general you can build your business growth model to maximize the plan. It is the specific issues above that I believe are the key differences as to why I would choose Network Marketing over other opportunities.

Tying it all together: Clarke Broome, Network Marketing, Team INA

So I don't know if Clarke agrees with everything I've written but what I do know is that Clarke Broome is a great example of "Success Leaves Clues".  Even though he had great successes in his efforts before getting involved in Network Marketing, he looked at the available facts, looked at what Team INA was teaching, looked at the opportunity Network Marketing offered and made a decision. The unlimited potential of the business appealed to him and because he put in the necessary time and effort and followed the principles being taught by his mentors, he now enjoys a lifestyle that few will ever have. And yet, like most successful people, he is willing to help those who want to build their own businesses.
